Jadeen Finnigan MSW, RSW
My name is Jadeen Finnigan. I am a warm, compassionate, dedicated, empathetic, charismatic and skilled social worker. I have eight years’ experience specializing in diverse mental health and trauma issues. I am adaptable and flexible, and my passion is to help others improve their lives through holistic healing (mind, body, spirit and soul). The core of my practice is delivering compassionate care and working in a healthy environment (great for both clients and provider of care). I am industrious, fair and respectful to everyone. I value diversity and the intrinsic worth of everyone regardless of race, class, creed, gender, sexuality, class, age or ability. I practice from a number of modalities including strength-base and spirituality. I am open-minded, non-judgemental and a great listener. I strongly believe clients are the experts in their lives, but need some guidance and support, and that is where I come in. Last, but not least, I am a mother of four, an author, and a cook. I am elated to be a part of this trailblazing team and what the future has in store, virtually.

MSW, RSW
I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in a field that allowed me to work with people and my faith has called me to serve those around me. My education includes a Diploma in Social Service Work from Niagara College, a Bachelor of Arts, a
Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Growing up, I struggled with reconciling my indigenous identity with the pressures of assimilation and societal expectations. This inner conflict sparked my passion for understanding the complexities of cultural identity and the impact it has on mental health.
As a proud indigenous woman, I am committed to advocating for the mental health and well-being of my community. I have dedicated my career to providing culturally competent therapy, creating a safe space for individuals to explore their identity, heal from intergenerational trauma, and reclaim their heritage with pride.
Whether guiding clients through personal struggles, relationship challenges, or spiritual crises, I work to empower my clients to embrace their authenticity, find meaning in their journey, and cultivate resilience in the face of adversity.
